If you copy and paste a Visio object into PowerPoint, the image may be cropped and despite efforts to use the "Crop" toolbar icon within PowerPoint, you cannot get it to display correctly.
This article shows that it is often caused if you have an external monitor connected and that monitor is using the DPI scaling feature.
If you disconnect the monitor and do the same operation on the laptop alone, the object copies without any problems.
