Running

Running Kubeadm init on a Debian Jessie errors because cgroups memory support is not enabled.

  • Add "cgroup_enable=memory swapaccount=1" to GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX
  • Run update-grub2
  • Reboot
Uninstall the default docker.io because it is only version 1.6.x.
